Q: What are the green alternatives for sending Christmas Greetings without sending cards?
I send ecards to those who have computers. Any alternative Green ways to send Christmas Greetings for those who don't use computers please?
A: Donations, Phone Calls and Holiday Hugs!
Send a financial contribution - whatever you can afford - to one or more environmental cause(s). Then phone everybody (save enough from your donation to cover long distance charges) and tell them that you did it. (Gently encourage them to do the same, instead of sending you a card or gift.)
Even before that, we took a real close look at our card list and eliminated those with whom we were no longer in touch, and those we had kept, just because we were receiving cards from them. (I think this may have been a relief to some people, because they stopped sending cards.)
What we had left were the people we really wanted to stay connected with. Most of those lived close enough to give Holiday Hugs in lieu of cards or gifts. Now we all do that instead of sending cards.
Q: Any great eCard's or other Virtual Gifts to send to a Girlfriend for Christmas?
I'm looking for really nice eCards/Online Cards,Some way to maybe create your own eCard? or any other Virtual Christmas Gift for a Girlfriend.

Q: Is it okay to not send Christmas cards?
I was thinking, instead of Christmas cards do you think it's okay to send ecards? People just throw the cards out, it's such a waste of time, paper and money.
What is your opinion? Is it okay to send an ecard instead of a traditional Christmas card?

I've been using free ecards from hallmark for years! now that I want to send out my Christmas cards, there are only very few cards that i am allowed to use? I hope that they have not decided to start charging for their ecards. they have the very best free ecards I have ever seen. And as a member of Hallmark, that is one benefit I would hate to lose. Does anyone know if they are eliminating their free ecards?

A: I send Christmas cards every year and so does everyone in my family. I think it helps them get into the Christmas spirit. I have saved all of my Christmas cards I have gotten over the years.

A few years ago...or some time ago I remember being on a website that had an A Christmas Story theme. There were games and clips and ecards and such. I searched on the internet but i can't find it. It was a really nice website like hallmark or jib jab or something non-sketchy like that. So i'm just wondering if anyone knows what it might have been or something. some of the games were like shooting a bb gun and having the bullets bounce off trees and such. anyone know what website that might be if it still exists?

Q: Address/email address for Australian Soldiers?
Is there an address that I can write to for Australian soldiers who I don't know. I would like to send some christmas cards / ecards to soldiers who are serving overseas, just to let them know that their families are not the only ones thinking of them this christmas. Thanks in advance!!
A: If you go to www.defence.gov.au there is a link on their main page to send messages to the troops. That would be your best bet. Or they have an email page, send an email off and see what they say.

Q: anyone else havng trouble sending msn free ecards today? or lately?
trying to send extra cards thru msn just now, you have to put your own email address in then underneath put the name and email address of the recipient. When you press the bar to say 'add the recipient' it tells you that its an invalid email address????
Has anyone else encountered this?
Can anyone advise next steps?

A: No, but maybe it could be because loads of people want to send xmas ecards and it takes long or its slow.

Its been so long since I actually wrote a letter to someone (when I mean wrote I mean by hand )...I think the last time I did something by hand was when I sent out christmas cards..but now ecards are taking over that...what about you. ?
A: I don't write them anymore, and I was just thinking the other day what a shame it is that they've become pretty much obsolete. I was inspired to write one, but since the recipient only lives down the road, it might be considered a weird thing to do haha. I think this death of writing is sad.
