Q: Christmas tree decorations?
Can anyone give me some Xmas tree decorations that can be made but are inexpensive. I'd also like classy and creative. Anything that I can glitter? This is for a twelve foot tree.

A: you can get some ornaments that are a plain color like red, gold, silver, metallic colors, or you could get a clear ornament. you can find them anywhere around christmas time. next take glue (it can be elmers glue) and put it on your ornament in the pattern you want to show up. then pour your glitter onto the glue...it will stay and then you let it dry and put them on your christmas tree.

Q: Where's the best place to buy Christmas decorations?
We're having our annual family christmas party at our house this year for the first time ever, so we want to decorate it really nice. We've got plenty of christmas tree decorations and tons of lights, but almost nothing else. Where is the best, cheapest place to buy decorations? Like, would they sell christmas stuff at dollar stores? If I knew we were having the party at my house this year I would have bought a bunch of stuff after last year's christmas when everything was on clearance =|

A: Dollar stores are good, but to create some opulence you could make some of your own to fit in around, IE small baskets etc with some cones and berries especially holly, or anything you can collect, looks great when sprayed with some silver and a bit of glitter, a nice bowl of fruit with some dates serves as decoration and snacks at the same time. a bit of imagination and a few pence a bit of time and sit back when your guests say wow Dont forget the mince pies. CAN I COME SOUNDS GREAT. lol

Q: Are Christmas tree and decorations luxury items ?
how much did you pay for these decorations ? http://produits-de-luxe.blogspot.com/2007/12/sapin-noel-decorations-luxe-produits.html

A: About 5 years ago, I bought a fake Christmas tree and all kinds of decorations. I probably spend about $250 total on everything. Yes, they are luxury items, but the year I bought them, I had the money to spend.

Q: what does the christmas tree symbolise and the christmas decorations we put round our house?

A: According to the catholic bulletin it reads; The most obvious symbol of Christmas are lights-Christmas candles, window lights, luminaries, lights on the Advent Wreath and Christmas tree. All signifying that Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. Christmas trees can be found almost anywhere, any size. For many people, the Christmas tree is only a seasonal decoration. To Christan's it symbolizes the green of hope at a time of dying, the burning light of Christ at a time of spiritual darkness and the fruits of paradise. Its origin as a Christan symbol may trace to a historical event. When St. Boniface evangelized the Germanic tribes he chopped down their sacred oak to prove the impotence of their god. Just as St. Patrick used the shamrock as a symbol of the Trinity, St. Boniface used the evergreen as a symbol of the eternity of the true God. All of the other lights that we put on our houses, lawn and other trees are a symbol of illuminating the arrival of the baby Jesus. This is to show how much we are eager for him to arrive on Christmas Eve. Have a great new year and may God bless you.

Q: Why do Christians celebrate Christmas with tree decorations.?
"For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with a chisel, they adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter." (Jeremiah 10:3-4) It has been labelled as a worthless act by God but Christians are still practising it. Why!

A: An important key to understanding any passage is to pay careful attention to its context. Verses 2 through 4 of Jeremiah 10 are part of a larger context. That larger context is verses 1 through 16. In these verses Jeremiah proclaims the Lord as the only God. "No one is like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due.... The Lord is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King.... God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding" (verses 6-7, 10, 12, NIV). The gods that pagans worship are nothing compared to the Lord. Verses 8 and 9 speak of "worthless wooden idols" on which workmen place hammered silver and gold, and rich apparel. Jeremiah is not condemning Christmas trees. He is condemning idolatry. The trees in Jeremiah 10 are cut down to carve them into worthless idols that will later be decorated with gold and silver. Jeremiah says nothing about Christmas trees. That custom originated in northern Europe, not in ancient Palestine.

Q: If you had a Christmas tree with no decorations on it, what parts of a smirf's body could you chop off and...

Q: When Should I Get Out the Christmas Tree?
I haven't had a christmas tree since god know when because my old home was an apartment with low ceilings so my thoughts of it were diminished. Now my family and I moved into a house and since it is pretty close to Christmas time and that all the Christmas decorations were out in the stores, I was wondering when we should put our trees up? Oh! And when should I take it down?

A: i know..i see all the things in the store(not to mention sitting with the marked down halloween stuff) and im dying to put out my decoratons.a couple of days before thanksgiving i put my lights outside (or whatever decorations) but they dont come on til thanksgiving...i usually set aside my thanksgiving evening .i put on some christmas music and put up my tree..do my decorating and drink hot chocalate..and if i feel like it i go ahead and fill out my christmas cards...i take my tree and decorations down jan.2 im really not supersticious but my grandmother always says its bad luck to take it down before than..besides its so pretty and my favorite time of the year so i might as well enjoy!and have a merry blessed christmas!!

Q: Christmas tree?
how is it artificial or natural? what color is it or will be you decorations on tree? color .....

A: I've always used a real xmas tree, but this year I have a artificial one. I got a puppy and I'm afraid of her getting sick from the pine needles. I'm going to decorate it with my usual ornaments, but instead of using balls I'm using red bows.

Q: iDEAS 4 decorations for CHRISTMAS WITHOUT christmas tree?
NO STOCKINGS NO SANTA im christian and celebrate christmas for Jesus not santa. So any ideas?

A: Get a nice Nativity Scene, and decorate around it...Christmas Poinsettias, Holly, Mistletoe, ribbon, and lace....are you exchanging gifts? Make your own gift tags out of Religious Christmas Cards, wrap them in solid paper or Angel Paper, or Verse paper...you can find this. Bake a cake for Jesus' Birthday, and have a nice dinner. Start a collection of Nativity Scenes, and you might find a nice Christmas Carousel from Germany, I used to have one that depicted the whole Christmas story, it was tiered and had the Nativity, the shepherds and Wise men, and even the soldiers sent to kill the King of Kings.....(It was very expensive, but was very nice.) Anyway, you do not need the Christmas Tree, but you could use the little white lights in the holly and Poinsettias, around the nativity...hope this helps...Merry Christmas!
