Q: Do you have any ideas for a homemade Christmas gift that my 11 month old girl and I can make for her dad?
In our family, we've decided to make homemade Christmas gifts. I want to make something special with my 11 month old daughter for her to give to her dad but don't have any ideas. We already made a beautiful picture frame for Father's Day with her hand and footprints on it so I need something new. Do you have any ideas?

A: you can get this little child safe concrete kit for a few dollars at home improvement stores, my baby sister made a mold of her hand and her foot and they sit in the trophy display case at our house!!! my parents loooove them!!

Q: any ideas for a homemade Christmas gift for my 4 year old nephew?
my family has a tradition of making homemade gifts for one person in the family, and giving them to each other on christmas eve. we have 3 days from name-drawing till christmas eve. this year i drew my 4 year old nephew, and i have no idea what to make him. i want it to be something really cool. he loves fighter jets (he wants to be a fighter pilot when he grows up) and the movie Cars, and has one of the worlds largest thomas the train sets, i swear. so, in other words, he is a typical 4 year old boy. and ideas for what to make him?

A: Make him a big pillow in the shape of something he likes (an airplane, a car, a big turtle or frog or spider) for him to use when sitting on the floor watching TV or playing. If he's 4, he's not too old for a stuffed animal either.

Q: What are some great homemade Christmas Gifts for teens? [14-15]?
I have these four friends. And they don't live anywhere near me. But I want to give them something wonderful for Christmas and I want to make it myself. Anyone have any good ideas about what I can make them? And I also have these three best friends who are guys. I wanna make them something nice too. Any ideas? Please? Kay thanks.

A: Either using iTunes or Windows Media Player, create a playlist for each friend. You can buy blank CDs at Wal-Mart, Target, or any office supply store. Definitely try to get the ones with a case (also called a jewel), because then you can design custom covers. Hope this helps. -C

Q: Homemade Christmas gifts other than food?
Any body have any ideas of some Christmas gifts I could make for my friends and family other than food? I'm kinda over giving out popcorn balls as gifts. I don't mind if the gifts take a lot of effort, so long as they don't take a lot of money. I don't know how to knit.

A: buy cheap, plain, boring picture frames and then decorate them with different inside jokes and memories you have with the person, put a pic of you and whichever friend you're giving it too inside. hope it helps! good luck and merry christmas! (:

Q: Good homemade christmas gifts for kids?
I'm really, really broke this christmas so I thought I'd make presents for my little sisters this year. Any ideas on what I could make? (One is 12 and quite tomboyish and the other is 7 and pretty girly)

A: Make them personalized stationary and then buy an inexpensive pencil set to go with it. If you have a scroll saw then make them a wooden puzzle. First draw your design, paint it, saw it, then touch up the paint on the edges. You can find images to fit their personality, ot create your own in photoshop maybe with a picture of them You can make them a bird feeder set by basically preparing all of the pieces and making directions for them to put it together. Then they can paint them with their own design If you have a tree big enough then gather some scrap wood from construction sites and build them a tree house. If the construction sites are fenced off then go when you see guys working and ask if you can have some of the scraps. They will gladly let you take them because it is less work for them to have you haul it away. You can make jewelry. Go to your local thrift store and look for inexpensive jewelry. You can usually find beads and fake stones for less than a dollar. Hope this helps and have fun!

Q: What is a good homemade christmas gift for a guy that is under $25 to create?
My fiance and I are getting married this summer and money is tight. We decided for X-mas that we would give each other a homemade gift that would cost $25 or less to create? I can't think of a good creative idea that is under $25.

A: Do you knit or crochet? I have used big needles or crochet hooks in the past to make along scarf to keep his neck warm in the winter. It's not hard to learn, and you can probably crank one out in a few hours.

Q: Homemade Christmas Gifts for Teen Girls...?
So my me and my two closest friends decided to make homemade gifts for each other... But I have NO idea what to make! HELP!!! I am not very crafty so it will have to be something very very simple.

A: you can make a scrapbook with all your pictures in it make a bracelet: use beads that have letters on them to spell out her name then put red and green beads around it buy mini stockings and personalize them with green paint that spells their names. you can fill them with candy make chocolate covered gummy bears (sounds weird but they're good) 1) buy a pack of gummy bears and semi-sweet chocolate chips 2) melt chocolate chips in a non-stick pan (use lowest heat on stove) 3) when its melted and completely smooth, dip one side of the bear or the whole gummy bear into the chocolate 4) put them on wax paper and place in freezer to cool buy a stuffed animal like a reindeer or snowman and attach a homemade christmas card make a hot cocoa gift basket: put cocoa mix in a jar, leave some room and fill the rest of the jar with mini marshmallows. include a spoon and mug in the gift basket. or homemade candles : you'll need a candles, a candle wick, and a "holiday" container - you can find glass or plastic candle holders that you normally place store bought candles in 1) get a tealight candle, paraffin wax, or regular candle 2) remove the wick and cut candle into small cubes 3) put in measuring cup, microwave until melted (melts really fast) 4) take the candle wick that you removed, place it in the middle of the container, make sure it doesn't fall out of place 5) pour the candle wax into the container (be careful and use oven mitts when holding the measuring cup) 6) let it sit for a while untill it gets cool good luck and have fun!

Q: Any ideas for homemade Christmas gifts for parents?
Any ideas for homemade Christmas gifts for parents? Hello! I am looking for a good-quality Christmas gift for my parents. I am 14 years old, and I have two younger brothers, ages 6 and 9. Last year we made footprint and hand print reindeer and my parents LOVED them!! The best part was it was a complete surprise!! We did it while they were at a party. This weekend I would like to do that again, but I need some ideas! Thanks in advance!! P.S. I don't care how long it will take or how messy or what I need to buy. They do so much for me, I think I can put a little time, money, and elbow grease into it!!! Thanks again!!

A: I love making gifts for friends and family! When I was a kid, I used to do (draw or paint) a wall calendar featuring next year's animal from Chinese Lunar New Year (I'm not Chinese :-). Also you check any art supply stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby- they carry tons of wooden things that can hand painted: candle holders, small chests, etc. A bit more difficult would be to make mosaics (for mirror frames or wall clocks) - both stores I mentioned have mosaic kits. Hand made presents are so special!
