Q: Paper Lanterns- yeah or nay? do they come w/ lights?
I am thinking of using them on a few trees outside for a graduation open house. I have some blue Christmas lights I could use, but it seems like a hassle w/ all the cords and stuff- but the end result is always pretty. what is your experience with paper lanterns?

Q: How can I hang icicle lights from my ceiling?
i want to hang blue icicle lights on my ceiling. but how? I have regular christmas lights around the edge of my ceiling and i use these: http://www.3m.com/us/home_leisure/command/products/decoratingclips.jhtml . They work okay but I'm worried that the icicle lights will be heavier, especially if they're hanging from the ceiling. I'm sure I will end up trying it I'm looking for other ideas. i do not want to staple or use nails or tacks because i don't want to damage my ceiling and i don't think they'll stay in my ceiling. I will probably try sticky-tack.

A: Sticky-tack when it gets hot looses all it's stickiness. I would use the things you used for your christmas lights, and if those don't work, I know they make bigger stronger hooks of that kind.

Q: How do I pin up Christmas lights around my room?
Without hooks. I've tried sticky tape but it keeps falling down. Blue tack didn't seem to work either. My walls are plaster or something with paint on the... Yeah, stupid question, I know. Any ideas? Or way to put the tape? xD I feel stupid.

There are three colours red green and blue.The box says that if one is broken the others still work.The green ones won't work by last year and the blue lights just stopped working 10 min ago.I think it has something to do with the fact that I kneeled on it...is there a way i can fix that?

Q: Christmas decorating?
I want my home to look perfect this year, focusing mainly on the tree. It's my job to decorate it, and I want it to look proffesional. Like with a therme like in the stores. I cant spend much money, but heres what I have: Sea shells, scrapbooking paper, a sewing machine, various colors of yarn, knitting needles, red beaded garland, blue christmas lights, tons of verry random onaments (harry potter, miss piggy, ballet, you name it!), aluminum foil, white paper cardstock, colored origami paper, glitter, glue, markers, crayons, acrilic, oil, tempera, and watercolor paints, etc... what would look so elegant with normal, every-day stuff and a little tiny bit 'o' money?

A: For elegant looking ornaments spray paint chipped ones with enamel glossy paint and sprinkle glitter on them while the paint is wet. You can use silver paint and blue glitter, or gold paint and red glitter. You can spray paint pine cones and hang them on the tree. Basic white lights give lots of brightness for the ornaments to reflect the glitter. Cut small pieces of yarn and use as hangers for the ornaments, use your fancy paper to make stars dusted with glitter glue. Issy

Q: Where can I find UNC Tarheel Christmas tree lights?
My husband is a BIG Tarheel fan. We have a UNC room (man cave), which has a Christmas tree. I have a lot of great UNC ornaments, but I can't find the perfect lights. Here is what I'm looking for... - UNC Tarheel lights - LIGHT blue lights - LIGHT blue and WHITE lights Any of the above will work. The lights I got last year looked light blue, until I put them on the tree. Then, they looked dark blue (aka Duke blue), which kind of ruined the effect. I have found lots of blue lights online, but no LIGHT blue lights. THANKS!!! :)

Q: hard to find icicle christmas lights!!!?
i am trying to find the outdoor blue and white icicle christmas lights... we have been seeing them around everywhere for the last month but have not been able to find them in stores! we've checked target, wal-mart, home depot, and no one seems to know what we're talking about. they are not the typical icicle lights (the ones that just look like pieces of light string hanging)..these have an actual pointed piece of plastic at the bottom, and the whole thing flashes blue and white... please help!!!!!!

Q: I have Blue/Gray eyes and im Latino. How did i get colored eyes if my parents are Hispanic?
well this is my 2nd time asking, and please help cuz it really didnt get answered last time. Well im David and im 16. And i have grey/blue eyes. And i barely (yes, barely) noticed they were rear on me. I mean, im not white, and not even close. Im not black nor dark brown or something. Im tanned like light brown, i also have dark black hair, And i have blue/grey eyes. And im asking WHY & HOW DID I GET THEM??? Im serious, how DID I GET THEM? WHY DO THEY CHANGE COLOR? WHY? i mean, My mom is Mexican (born in Mexico) and she has brown eyes. My dad has light brown/green eyes. He's mexican too but telling from my last name, Fotzagen, i can tell he has some European blood.. iM not really sure. And suddendly, i got blue eyes. my brothers all have GREEN EYES. and they got them from my dad. BUT I, i got BLUE EYES? i look LIKE A MARTIAN CHILD. (FYI, Hispanic is anyone born or born to Latin-america or to latin-america persons) . It all started when my history teacher told me im a prime example of French/Spanish influence on Native-American peoples. i kinda felt insulted, but he's a dumbass so i let it pass. Ever since then (4 weeks ago) everyone has been bugging me about my eyes. Most are compliments from girls and negative comments from guys. And they bug me cuz they change color! WHATS UP WITH THAT? WHY DO THEY CHANGE COLOR EVERY MONTH OR SO???? right now they are gray and they appear blue. in christmas, they were light blue and appeared green. Its sometimes fun seeing them change color week to week, but it makes ppl think i wear real good contacts. Like i hate it when one month they appear light green-gray and the next month they are blue WTF IS UP? my brothers have green eyes, and they NEVER change color. Even so, my dad's eyes are green only in summer or appear to be green. But other than my brothers, no one else in my mom's or dad's family has colored eyes, not even my dad's parents. So HOW DID I GET THEM? AND WHY DO THEY CHANGE COLOR EVERY OTHER MONTH OR SO???? PLEASE explain more id possible. thanks!

A: because you have some spanish blood in you. that or of another kind of european in you. besides dont trip over people thinking theyre contacts. hell I have to wear contacts cause my vision is blurry but if anybody accuses me of having a fake eye color I just move my contact to the side and they see that my eye color is real trust me the guys are hating cause you get compliments from girls. hell I wish I had the eyes that you have. the changing color types. that sounds awesome! (seriously dude be proud of it! a lot of people would KILL to have those kind of eyes naturally. i know it may seem like a curse but believe me it is a blessing. and plus if you have tanned light brown skin then its even better. usually most latinos with colored eyes happen to be white. but if youre brown skinned with colored eyes that is rare!) as for how your eyes came out different. the answer is recessive genes. my parents have brown eyes and so does my little brother.
