Q: gazebo lighting?
Our wedding is going to be at sunset and into night. my question is how can I light up the gazebo for darkfall? I do not like white mini christmas lights. Thanks for all the ideas!

A: Okay, so you don't like 'white mini Christmas lights' ... but there are stores where you can find lots of good 'covers' to put over the little lights, or you can even buy strings of lights with good 'covers' ... everything from 'tissue flowers' to little Japanese lanterns ... or 'chili peppers' if that's your thing. Go on-line and do a search under 'party lighting' and 'strings of lights' ... and have a WONDERFUL LIFE with your 'new husband' ... (and you may 'steal a kiss from him' for me.

Q: Where can I buy a live miniature christmas tree in Virginia (US)?
I did it a couple years ago for my grandma because she cant handle big trees anymore. Its came with decorations and mini lights and I either got it at lowes or home depot but im not sure if they still sell them... I really want to do it again for her though

A: I believe you can get a mini live tree at any florists. I got one three or four years ago and in the spring we planted it in the front yard and now it is over three foot tall.

Q: Would you ever put your Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving?
On Saturday, I bought a 3' tree, 100 mini blue lights, and 48 mini blue ornaments. It seems a little cheerier in here now.

Q: Micro mini lcd light string?
I found a small christmas tree that is made of micro mini lights on green wire. The wire is very fine and the lights are at the end of branches and the branches are the wire string. I have looked every where and cannot find anything like this. It is battery powered and multi colored little tiny square bulb sort of light small as a rice bulb but I can't find it with that description either. Anyone have any ideas. I checked modeling sites , bulb sites, christmas site, etc. No markings anywhere and it is a found object so noone to ask. No 1................. Great....links Closer to grain then fiber optics . Almost there. Maybe because they are multicolored they are just bought in groups and mixed up. Thanks best so far.

Q: Invisable power source !?
Is there a battery pack that has a plug in that would light up a strand of 25 mini christmas lights. I am trying to light a shadow box like piece of art work without having a cord going to an outlet. It has to be something small so it can be hidden. Any other sugesstions on how to light this project would be appreciated.

A: I understand what you are trying to do, but the lights that are used for the xmas tree was designed to handle the 110V (US) or if you are in UK (220) Volts. Those lights are the wrong design if you are tyring to go portable. What you need are led lights, led strand. LED's will take less power, thus you can use a battery pack to power them. Q: If an athiest celebrates Christmas, does that mean he believes ?
One of our neighbors boasts he does not believe in God - or Jesus - or anything Biblical. That is fine - to each his own. We all have a right to believe or not believe as we see fit. But, he is the first on our block to erect giant Christmas scenes, flashing lights, and he even put that annoying wreath on the grille of his mini-van. Could he be a closet-Christian or is he just a hypocrite ?

A: maybe he doesn't believe in the "God" christmas but instead believes in the "Santa / Wal-mart / I wanna pony!" christmas. maybe his mom believes in the "Christian" christmas and he is actually a closet athiest who hasn't come out to his family yet. or maybe he is just telling people that he is an athiest becuase he wants to people to think that his is somehow "tougher" than they are by not believing in all that softy "angels and somewhere there is someone better than me" crap.

Do you decorate for christmas?? my mom goes CRAZY!! lol but i decorate my room like put stuff around my door and window stickys and like light up light in the window. Oh and a mini christmas tree!! lol

A: No, but I do drive my girls around our neighborhood so they can see the decorations of other homes. Some people really get into that. I know their light bill is high, lol.
