Q: Where can I get some indoors lights (like christmas ones I suppose) that have a white cable, for my twigs?
You know those ones you put in your lounge.
A: Usually you can find the ones with white cable wherever they sell wedding decorations...a large craft store is a good choice, but if you don't have that available, look for wedding decoration web sites. This is from Michael's Craft Store and from Hobby Lobby...I know you'll be able to find them.
Q: POLL: White Or Colored Christmas Lights?
A: Colored for me.
Q: white or rainbow christmas lights?
A: I like rainbow, more colorful!
Q: white or colorded christmas lights?
A: I use both.
It just depends on what you like best.
Merry Christmas!
Q: Is it "white trash" to put Christmas lights on the pick-up truck sitting on cinderblocks in the front yard?
Because the lights look good on the old toilet bowl/birdbath sitting next to it.
A: Can you put a Santa IN the truck and some plastic deer in the bed of it? That would be really cool. String up lights, use those 'coors' lights that my grandma sent you--that'll look right purty!
Q: On your Christmas tree: all white lights...or...assorted colored lights?
A: Multi colored ones
Q: is ti safe to leave Christmas lights on in my room at night?
all i'm going to do is put a border around my closet doors with small white string lights. they wouldn't be interfering with any fabrics.
are there any possible fire hazards or other hazards i should be aware of?
A: I have had the same string of 50 multi-colored twinkle lights on in my own room for the past three years straight, and they have NEVER been turned off.
I say it is okay and it hardly wastes any electricity at all. It makes a nice glow in my room all year long.
Q: how to attach Christmas lights on roof without puncture rooftop?
shingle roof, stanad or reg white lights
A: they have plastic clips that slide under to help hold up the lights.
Q: i have bare white walls in an apt. i can't paint. but i have fabric that i was thinking of hanging.?
i heard of using startch and hanging it as a temporary form of wallpaper but that sounds messy. i was thinking of hanging the fabric from maybe a pole and taping white christmas lights to the wall behind it. i need some advice or pictures of examples if anyone has any. any tips???? please help.
A: You can get a decorative drapery rod and hang the fabric from that. They usually hang a few inches from the wall which would enable you to attach your lights in the back for drama. You can even use tape (strong double sided) or fabric glue on the back side of the fabric to make the rod pocket if you are not a sewer.
The starch method can be messy. You have to fill one of those wallpaper trays with the liquid starch, saturate the fabric, adhere to the wall and work the bubbles out with a credit card or plastic spatula. Of course, laying out plastic on the floor and using painter's tape to achor it down helps keep the mess confined, but you will still have drips down the wall that you will need to wipe away with a damp sponge. The starch neither damages the wall nor the fabric, though.
Q: If you put a Christmas tree up - did you use all white lights (or any other solid color) or multi-color ones?
We have multi-color lights on our inside tree, my daughter has all purple on hers and we have multi-color lights outside.
A: We use multi-color lights. I think the multi-color are more common in families with children. Colored lights on a tree with different ornaments made at school and different hallmark ornaments, not as many bulbs.I see the all white as more of a "grown-up" tree, full of store bought bulbs.
Merry Christmas!
Q: The president lights a tall Christmas Tree on the White house lawn. How many large colored balls are on it?
A: None.
Q: White or multi coloured Christmas lights.?
(My opinion- white all the way)
A: I say white ones for the most part, but occasionally I think when there is a strand of all red lights or all green lights that can look pretty mixed in with the white lights. No other colors though...just simple and elegant.
Q: "White" and "Colored" Lights No Longer Acceptable?
So, I've heard that calling christmas lights "White" and "Colored" is no longer politically correct. Instead they suggest you use "lights" and "festive lights."
What do you think of this? Let the debates begin!
In case you're a little confused...
It's considered Racially Offensive. Yep. That's what's happening to the world these days!
AND by the way, I didn't make this up. I've honestly heard it. I disagree strongly with it myself, but that's what people are saying these days.
A: Sigh, rolling my eyes, sigh.
Honestly, is this just another marketing scheme?
Q: Is your God like a white Christmas tree light or a colorful green friendly LED light?
A: lots of colors and blinking
Q: White lights or colored light on the Christmas tree? (I can't decide) help?
A: ~White light outside to look "snow-covere" and
color lights inside to resemble gifts. :)
