Q: what is the best way to clean silver christmas ornaments?
A: Silver polish. I also use diaper flannel (you can get it at Walmart) as the cleaning cloth and then to shine them. What ever you do, do NOT use that dipping tarnish remover stuff! Many silver ornaments are just plate, not solid. Every time you use that stuff, you remove some silver!
Q: Danbury Mint Gold Christmas Ornaments ?
A few years ago there was a website that I used to refer to that listed all the Danbury Mint Gold Christmas Ornaments by year with pictures. My old computer crashed and I lost the website. Does anyone know where I can get this information? I contacted Danbury Mint and they don't have a website that would show this info.
A: Not sure if this is what you want, but you may want to try here...

Q: Survey: Over the years, many of us have collected different Christmas ornaments for our trees ?
What Christmas ornament brings back the best memories for you?
The one I still have and faithfully hang each year is our baby's first Christmas from 1980.
I had my children's home made ornaments, but as each one married and moved on, I delivered these to them on there first Christmas with their spouse.
A: The Christmas ornaments I cherish the most are the ones my 2 children made in kindergarten, and I also will give them theirs when they are on their own and have their first Christmas tree. Hmmm such sweet memories to cherish. EDIT: I think more families should have a sweet father like Gentle Fox, oh what a better world this would be.
Q: Looking for Monty Python and the Holy Grail Christmas Ornaments?
A: I saw this question the other day and did not have a chance to answer it before it went away. It may have even been your question, I do not remember.
You will not find Christmas ornaments, specifically. But you will find things that can be used as Ornaments. In fact, there is a nice die-cast pewter MP Spamalot keychain that you can get from the Spamalot home page.
I would search for keychains and use those (you cut off the attachment and add a hook to get to your tree).
Or, there is another alternative. Scifigenre.com has a pair of Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch and a miniture Killer Rabbit plush which could both serve as ornaments, if you desired.

Q: Creative Ideas for making Christmas Ornaments?
How would you put a picture inside or outside of a Christmas ornament?
The answers need to describe how to place a picture in the inside or outside of a sphere like Christmas ornament.
A: I would think that a square ornament would be easy to place a picture on an ornament. I would try Michael's or Hobby Lobby and find those clear glass ornaments that are meant to be filled with sparkle stuff or painted.
I would think that photo paper would be too thick to work with, so transfer the pic to regular paper. And the pic would have to be small. You could suspend it inside the ornament, maybe use some of that shredded paper that you put in presents to hold it against the glass. You might have use decoupage glue or modge podge to hold it in place. All you would have to do is roll it up to fit through the hole, and unfurl it inside.
Easy would be to just buy a cheap colored ball, glue on the pic, and edge it with glitter or tinsel to hide irregular edges.
Q: I'm giving my friends ornaments for Christmas, what is a good website to look at some?
I'm going to get them at hobby lobby, but hobby lobby doesn't have pictures of their ornaments online.
A: i'm doing the same thing and i also want to buy at hobby lobby but no pictures! i've been looking all over the internet. i'm looking for some type of guitar ornament for my boyfriend's brother. do you think hobby lobby would have one?? email me if you have any idea.

Q: Where to find Mexican Christmas Ornaments/Decorations online?
My community has a Festival of Trees in early December and each year my coworkers and I decorate one for the festival. Our theme this year is "Christmas around the World" and I have Mexico. Living in New Mexico you'd think I have great access to such things but not in the NW corner. So I'm curious if any of you know any great, but cheap, online websites that may have something I could use. I have a $50 budget so the cheap part is kind of essential.

I need something to occupy my time. Anyone have any great ideas for making Christmas ornaments? I need something that is nice.. nothing tacky. Thanks!!
A: You could make wreaths
they bring a good price too if you want to sell them
I recently walked through a rather large Christmas shop to get ideas for myself. I saw garland decorated with ribbon that just seem to flow through the garland and then there were icicles hanging down -- absolutely beautiful. I am going to use it on the mantle in my dining room.

I want to start making my own Christmas ornaments this year, but I can't seem to get started. I've looked online for some useful websites but I haven't found anything similar to what I want to do. I want to make bulbs out of styrofoam and beads, glitter, & sequins, using pins, but I'm not sure how to do it. Anyone have any good tips or links they can send me? Thanks!
