Q: Where can I buy Christmas decorations/ornaments online?

A: 140, I tend to go overboard when decorating evrey year. I like to visit lots of stores to see what the new christmas decorating trends are. http://www.christmasdecorationsstores.com

Q: Why do people give Christmas decorations and ornaments as christmas gifts?
Does that make sense?

A: Every year I give my kids an ornament so that when they get their own homes they have a "start" on their own decorations. Each ornament is a collector piece, and will have value when they grow up. I also give an ornament for a newly married couple - it's just symbolic of the continued reasons to celebrate their union.

Q: Where's a good website to order Christmas ornaments or decorations?

A: http://www.Bronners.com has one of the best online selections available.

Q: Poll: Do you think it's crazy that some stores have Christmas decorations already out for sale?
Yes or No. (I was in Target today and could NOT believe that the Christmas ornaments/stockings were already displayed!)

A: You nicked my question posted and resolved 3weeks ago.. Here is mine. But YES is the answer. Your Resolved Question» Is it too Early for shops to be selling Christmas decorations in September? I think Christmas decorations should not be on sale till just a few weeks before Christmas! When sales are on from Sept, the build up of the excitement of Christmas is gone by the time the real day comes. In the years gone by when the Christmas decors starts appearing in the shops a month before Christmas it is so exciting & special. Does anybody feel that way? 3 weeks ago

A: get a baby gate and put it around the tree

Q: Is it too early for Christmas Decorations?
My husband is in Iraq, and the kids and I will hopefully be in Florida (we live in NC ) for Christmas. Christmas is my FAVORITE time of year. We have traditions, like we always put our decorations out Thanksgiving night, after dinner. However, with daddy not here, I don't want to spring that on them all at once and make it a sad thing. So, I put up a tree yesterday (I always have about 5 trees) but instead of Christmas ornaments, I put fall decorations. Like fall leaf garland and pine cones and stuff. I plan to slowly bring in more decorations over the weeks, instead of just getting them all out like we usually do. Since we wont be here, and will not be able to do our after Christams ritual of taking it down, I was going to take them down before we left for Florida. What do you guys think? I'm not hanging up the outside lights just yet lol that can wait. I just want to make this as easy on the kids as I can. They are 11 and 8. Thanks so much!

A: wait til after Thanksgiving

Q: What is your favourite Christmas decoration/ornament?
I have a ceramic christmas tree lamp with little presents around the base.

A: A little snowman (about three inches tall) made by my daughter when she was at school (16 years ago)!

Q: I was wondering if on black Friday stores put Christmas decorations on sale?
This is going to be my first Christmas living with my boyfriend and we wanted to buy MANY decorations (we are into holiday spirit) so we were curious if stores put trees, ornaments, stocking and all those other goodies on sale because we are on a budget.

A: They sure do! Watch the Thanksgiving day ads! There are a lot of things already on sale!

Q: Anyone else got their Christmas Decorations up yet?
Has anyone got there decorations up yet? Ive started putting mine up, but not the tree yet, just the ornaments.

A: I'm putting mine up on the 30th, can't wait and I was tempted to put them up today!

Q: How often do you change your Christmas Decorations?
For the longest time I would just decorate with a variety of ornaments, then after my divorce I stopped using them as many were somehow significant for an event or place that were some memory of where my ex-husband and I had been or done. Then I started doing a sports themed tree and decorations and have been doing that for a couple of years. This year I have seen so many unique colors/combinations that I would love to add, but would just clash with what I already have. I hate to discard the other decorations/ornaments..ect... as they are perfectly fine there is nothing wrong with them. So that got me to thinking....how often does everyone change up their Christmas Decorations/Theme?

A: Oh I wish that I had some of the christmas decorations that my late parents had but I lost them when I left them at a house that I shared with a so-called best friend and she took them as her own! I had to replace them twice (the last time because I didn't have a place of my own for a period of time after I had to let go of my first set of decorations and tree after I got away from her)

Q: Where can I find Cheap Christmas Decorations online or in a store.?
My Husband and I are finally in our own house for christmas this year and I bought a tree last year hoping if I bought a tree he would get the picture and get me a house to put it in. It's a pre-lit tree But I still need the ornaments and stuff to put on it. We don't have a whole lot of money to spend so I was trying to get quite a bit for a low price and E-Bay isn't an option. It's our first christmas with just us and the kids and I would really like it to be special.

A: try the dollar store first, then move up to walmart, then hit your friends and family for stuff, actually do the f & f thing first

Q: Are your Christmas decorations 'random' or do you have....?
a definite color scheme/theme? I have an 'Old World' theme...birds and fruit on the tree with white lights...and all the ornament/decoration colors are burgundy and gold...

A: All my decorations are themed, some by the color of the room they are in, some by choice. Upstairs everything is white or green or pink. downstairs the tree is all cardinals[the bird, not the sports teams] and the decorations are too. I have a Santa collection there too. And an angel and a snowman collection. Downstairs is where the odds and ends go, too. Out on the breezeway there is not theme, it is my old Xmas tree and I have bought color lights and balls to go on it. The big tree has themes all over it, Santa, reindeer, sleighs, hearts, stars and feature certain brand name ornaments. The new one after Xmas will be locomotives, I have one picked out in that famous brand name.

Q: Do you have a special Christmas decoration or ornament?
or maybe a song or movie. something that brings back memories or how about a tradition. please tell me about it

A: It's always been tradition in our family to put the tree up at Thanksgiving. I remember growing up, my mom, my siblings, and I would put the tree up, while our dad watched the football game and played Christmas carols on the guitar. My dad died on Thanksgiving a few years ago, so we always dedicate the day and the putting the tree up to him now, with Christmas music playing in the background. We also still watch "The Muppet Christmas Carol" on Christmas Eve like we use to do with our dad. We time it just right, so that it ends at midnight. After our parents divorced, we'd always time it to where we were watching the movie at the exact same time as our dad, so we'd be watching it "with him". It was how we stayed connected to him.
