A: My sister gave me an order form for the Chihuahua.ornament from Danbury Mint (TM). It has the dog on a sleigh and its called "The First Annual Chihuahua Christmas Ornament" and she gave our other sister one for a Boston Terrier. I love dog breed items :)

A: I was looking too and found a really awesome collection of dark Twilight ornaments. They look really dark in the pictures but I called and asked, they said they were a little lighter in person, but I liked the fact that they are dark and Twilight- not your typical cheery Christmas stuff- and After the holidays I'm going to hang them up at different heights in my living room along my wall- The ones I found are here:

Q: Looking For Sunbeam Bread Christmas Ornament?
A few years back, Flowers Bakery did a christmas promotional for a Sunbeam Bread Christmas ornament. You would purchase so many loafs of bread and you would mail the UPC codes into the company and they would send you a free ornament. It was with Miss Sunbeam praying and read Not By Bread Alone. This is our first Christmas with our daughter, and we want to make it special by starting some new family traditions. Please share any family traditions you had as a child that you found special/meaningful.

What is the story behind it?
A: I have a "shadowbox ornament" which my son gave to me as a present when he was five years old. I have always liked shadowboxes and miniatures, and the more miniature the better. My son spotted a tiny ornament one when he was Christmas shopping with my husband. He wanted to buy it for me with his own money. When I opened this little child wrapped silly looking package on that Christmas day, it was the the most valuable present to me, and I still treasure it the most.

So it's a tradition my parents started, to buy Hallmark Ornaments every year. My brother and I each get one for Christmas, and my parents get a joint one. Their very first ornament was for their first Christmas together and has the date.
Now I will be spending my first Christmas with my boyfriend, and I want to continue the tradition. I found two ornaments I like, but I can't decide on which one.

Which one should I buy?
I want it to be a surprise.
A: I prefered the first one - only because I think it looks more homey and personal.
And then I saw the second in person. I was shopping today. And SAW it in a store that was all decorated up for Christmas. And I'm sad to say that it looked sort of cheap in person. Online it looks nice. But in person? I was a littel unimpressed. You may want to scope them in person. I expected from the picture that it would be made of glass but it's actually just plastic.
I loved Hallmark decorations but the last few years I've noticed them decliing in terms of material.
