Q: How do you keep the wires from wrapping around the trunk of a Christmas tree with a rotating stand?
I want to buy a rotating stand for a Christmas Tree. But I can't envision how the wires won't wrap around the base of the tree when it starts to spin. Anyone ever used one that can explain how that works?

A: The cord plugs into the base which should have a connector, and there are no leftover wires to twist around http://www.christmaslightsetc.com/p/1.25-inch-X-26-inch-ROLLING-STAND--18870.htm The tree has a male plug, the base has a female plug, and then a separate cord for the wall outlet.

Q: where can i find an artificial christmas tree stand? help please!?
soo we have a pretty big fake tree lol anyways we cant find the stand so we went to go go buy one but couldn't find any we went to walmart and home depot i looked online and found one that rotates for 50 but i didn't what that! i just want a regular stand! anyways we bought a christmas stand for a real tree the guy at home depot said it would work so we put the tree on the stand and it tips over after a few minutes!!! does anyone know where i can find one that's not to expensive

A: OK, I'm your problem solver. Here you go: Get a good size 1 gallon flower pot and some quick crete. Use vaseline around the shaft of the fake tree then insert into the flower pot. Mix the quickcrete and put around the shaft or base. Prop up into a corner until the crete hardens and the tree will stand on its own in the hardened concrete and then after Christmas, the vaseline will allow you to pull the tree out. :-)

Q: what can you use in place of a christmas tree stand?
i dont have a stand for a real tree . thankyou

A: One year we took a piece of thick wood and drilled a hole right in the center of it. It made a great Christmas stand. Just make sure it's heavy, tall wood and the hole is exactly in the center. Then cover it up and noone will ever know, except you of course. Merry Christmas !

Q: where can i find a spinning christmas tree stand?

A: bronners.com . They are the largest christmas store in the world.

Q: We lost the stand to our fake Christmas tree- does anyone have any suggestions??
They said that you have to buy a whole new fake tree and you can't just buy the stand separately. A regular tree stand wouldn't work because it would be too wide. We looked everywhere in our house and we're feeling like complete idiots as well...

A: Go to Walmart and buy a stand you might have to try a few different ones but you will find one that fits. Don't listen to whoever told you that you'll have to buy new tree, they were probably just trying to sell you one. Don't be embarrassed either, everybody on Earth loses something at some point in their life. Merry Christmas!

Q: Why do dogs and cats like the taste of Christmas tree water?
Why, do you think, dogs and cats like to drink the water from the Christmas tree stand when they have plenty of water to drink (and they are drinking plenty of this also) by their food bowls. There is not a great distance between the two areas, so it's not because their regular water is too far away. Do your pets do this? Every pet we have ever owned has liked the tree water. Do you think it's the flavor? Do you think it is bitter or sweet? I also wonder if there is any nutritional value; or if it harmful to them. It doesn't upset the stomach or cause diarreah. So what do you think they like about it?

A: I think it's the same reason why they drink out of toilet bowls or human cups/glasses - because it's different and it's there. Unless you put an additive in the water to prolong the tree's life, I can't imagine that it would be toxic - just dirty.

Q: Anyway to make an Christmas tree smell again?
I recently bought a Christmas tree, and it only smelt good for about a day, and it already stopped smelling. Anyway to make it smell again? P.S. It's in a Christmas tree stand filled with water.

A: Trim the bottom a bit and give it all fresh water, do this every few days. But since that's usually not a possiblitiy for a completley decorated tree, you could just buy some pine scent.

Q: How can I get my Christmas tree star to stand up straight? It is heavy and bends the tree top over! Help?

A: Fishing line will help if it's an indoor tree.. wrap a strand around the star and tack it to the ceiling to help keep the balance correct. Otherwise i would say, cut away a bit of the top until you have a more sturdy stalk to place the star on.. Good Luck

Q: my christmas tree water stand went dry and now the tree is not taking up water -what can I do?

A: Recut the base of the tree to open a fresh cut. This will allow water to again be taken up from the water stand.

Q: Buying a REAL Christmas Tree...What is a good stand to buy?
When buying a real Christmas tree... What companies or manufactures do you suggest I look at for buying a stand? We are doing a theme of a Christmas Halloween and I need a stand for a real tree we will be using! Thanks!

A: oh gosh idk..good thing you asked this though, because last year we had a horrible stand and the tree fell on me..hahaha
