Q: I sell Diaper gifts and scrapbook page frames and have made small flyers, is it ok to place on people's cars?
I am trying to make some additional money to fund treatments and vet bills for my Kitty. I have made a bunch of business card sized flyers for my diaper cakes and diaper wreaths and scrapbook page picture frames that I make and I want to place them on cars like at the store. Do you think this is ok?! Is it better to place it on their windshield under the wipers or on the driver's side door window? I am just trying to spread the word to hopefully start selling these.
A: You have to start somewhere and you have to advertise some how, so go for it. If the person isn't interested, they'll just throw it away.
Q: How many pages are usually in a scrapbook?******************?
ok so i am making a scrapboook and i was wondering if u use the front AND back or just the front or what? and how many go inside 1 scrapbook. thanks!!!!!!

A: Most books come with about 20 pages. And you can always use more than one picture on a page. Most layouts have 3 or so pictures. Just remember there is a rule of harmony and that is keep it odd;)
(By that I mean use 1, 3 or 5 of an element)
If you are using a 12 x 12 book its really possible to pull off the 3 pictures a page and wrap the whole thing up with 20 pages (10 front and backs)

Q: Does anyone know where I can buy a senior year themed scrapbook?I need the actual book and maybe themed pages.?
The actual book is more important. If possible, I would want it to say class of '09. The themed pages need to be like prom, senior pictures and graduation ceremony.

Q: how to scrapbook walls with magazine pages?
I want to decorate my walls with pictures and all different stuff. I need ideas on what to do and how to do it. I dont want to like ruin the walls, so how can I apply everything and make sure it is easy to remove??
A: AS for how to do it:
Put up rolled butcher paper on the walls you want to cover, using poster hangers to hold it to the wall. Attach the pics to the paper, to keep pics from the walls. You might want to use a thin wall paper paste to attach photos to the butcher paper.
Using the butcher paper, you can cut it to size, lay it on the floor to attach the pics, let the project dry, and than re-hang the completed collage. If the weight of the paper becomes too much, use some backing pieces, ie., heavy duct tape, 1/4 inch dowels, etc.., to give the paper some strength.
Q: Should you throw away old scrapbook pages with an ex boyfriend in them after you get married?
I've scrapbooked since I was 14, and I have several pages of pictures in a scrapbook that I made during my teenage years that have us together in them. No kissy pictures or anything like that. I would throw them away, but a lot of the other pictures on the same pages are of me having fun with other friends at the same event, etc...
My husbands never shown any sign of jealosy, but at the same time, it does seem odd having pictures of your ex boyfriend around?
Should I just pull them all up and glue something else down there?
A: Our lives are an intricate patchwork that make up who we were and are today.
I'm sure that there are many lessons that you learnt from your ex that helped you to become the well adjusted woman that your husband now loves.
If you still have a flame for your ex, i would be more worried about keeping the pictures. But there is nothing wrong with keeping pictures of your past friends, even those we were romantically connected to.

I need some ideas that are different than the average ones such as birthday and school days. I want something fun to work on. Plus any new sites?
A: For ideas on fun pages...I just came back from CKU Chicago & got A LOT of new ideas...what about scrapping everyday things that you like & appreciate...make a list...like starbucks, trash cans, gum, whatever makes you tick. If it's for children, favorite toy, blanket, the story of how your child got their shoes dirty. Just look at the smaller everyday things and something that makes you smile and laugh...try that!

For page ideas, you can check out magazines like creating keepsakes & scrapbook answers and look at online galleries. Two Peas in a Pod is a great scrapbook community with a huge gallery of layouts and message boards with all sorts of scrapbook topics. (http://twopeasinabucket.com/) You can go into the gallery and enter keywords for searching too..say you wanted to do a graduation layout, you just type graduation in and then you'd get tons of different graduation layouts.

Q: Where can I find scrapbook pages to download to my MAC?
I am making a project using iphoto and would like to first design some scrapbook layout pages or use pre-made ones and just add my own pics and text. I have literally searched every website and tried anything and everything yet have had no luck! I just wish to either copy or download layouts or make my own and then copy them into my project through my MAC desktop. Can someone help me figure this out or tell me a site/program that will allow me to do so. THANK YOU!

Q: Where do I put my scrapbook page?
I am making 3 separate scrapbooks for 2006, 2007, and 2008...the question is where do I put my New Years Eve and New Years day pages? For example we took a trip to rides dirtbikes for New Years Eve and New Years Day in 2006 (which obviously continued into 2007 when the clock struck midnight), so do I put those pages in the 2006 or 2007 scrapbook? Is it the end or the beginning? What if it is all one trip?
A: It actually depends soley on what you like. The idea of putting new years eve in 2006 and new years day in 2007 is a great way to have two albums flow right into each other.
The other option is to put all of the New Years activities into that years album. So even if you had a party on New Years eve 2006, you might just include the whole section in 2007 so that everything is together.
A whole different idea that nobody else mentioned was to create a holiday album of some kind and then it can just flow and it won't matter if it was 2006 or 2007 because you would be putting pages in order of how they happened.

Q: Is there any site or free downloadable software that you can use to make didigtal scrapbook pages?
I am tired of cutting and pasting and gluing and all that stuff, so i was wondeirng if there are any sites or free downloadable software I can sue to make scrapbook pages on the computer with my pictures and then print them, ready to just stick in my scrapbook like that. Thank you for any advice.
A: There is a free program available from scrapbookflair.com
This program can print 12 x 12 and also 11.5 x 8
However if you want to print 12 x 12 pages you will need a printer that can print this size paper as most printers only print up to A4 - hope this helps.
Q: What digital scrapbook printing/publishing service is best?
I've created digital scrapbook pages on Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, and I want REALLY high quality printing of them to put in my scrapbook (regular 12x12 sleeve). Is there a service that's better than the rest? (Shutterfly, Picabo, etc.)
A: Go with Shutterfly, if you're looking for an online photo site. I've beenreally pleased with the results.
That said, I've had my digital scrapbook pages printed by my local Costco, and they've turned out beautifully, too.
